Patient Care Technician (PN Select)
Description
The PN Select program is designed to provide students with the foundational coursework that prepares them to enter the Practical Nursing program offered at SouthernTech. While enrolled in the PN Select program, students learn foundational nursing skills, learn the role of the LPN, and gain skills to care for a variety of patients in a face-to-face instructional and interactive setting. Students completing the PN Select program successfully, are admitted into the Practical Nursing Program at SouthernTech and earn 600 hours of advanced standing in the Practical Nursing program.

Applicants must complete a SouthernTech Application for Admission. Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (seniors).
Financial Aid and Scholarships
This program is approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships are also available for those who qualify.
