HVAC Technician
Description
Graduates of this program keep our workplaces and living quarters heated and cooled efficiently. They maintain and install the equipment that keeps our food fresh or frozen in our supermarkets. Students learn the skills that prepare them to work as heating, air conditioning, and/or refrigeration technicians. This class may be substituted for up to one year of the three years required in the apprenticeship for the Mechanical Journeyman's License. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for refrigerant handling is also available.

Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).
Financial Aid and Scholarships
This program is not approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships may be available for those who qualify.
