Carpentry

Description

The Carpentry program prepares students to work in residential and commercial construction trades. Students learn safety-related topics, blueprint reading, materials estimating, basic and advanced framing, and interior and exterior finishing. Students have a variety of opportunities to practice skills while they work in the shop and on-location home.

Applicants must complete a SouthernTech Application for Admission. Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).

 

Financial Aid and Scholarships

This program is not approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships may be available for those who qualify.
