FULL TIME POSITIONS
CNA Instructor
Purpose of Job:
Responsible for the administration, coordination, supervision and implementation of the Nurse Assisting program. This includes training, setting up clinical experiences and curriculum to meet certification requirements. Certifications include: Long Term Care Nurse Aid, Home Health Aid, CPR & First Aid. Compliance with SouthernTech Board Policy and Oklahoma School Law is required.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. If BSN, Oklahoma RN License required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Current LTC Instructor Certification required or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Possess or be eligible for Oklahoma State Department of Education Provisional or Standard Teaching Certificate within the specified time frame as required by the State of Oklahoma Board of Education.
- Must have 3 or more years of experience in field of instruction within the last 5 years.
